Wild Rift Patch 2.3 Broken Blades Event: Duration, Missions, Rewards, And More

Help defend Ionia by choosing the right champion.

With the arrival of the latest League of Legends: Wild Rift 2.3 update, Riot has announced the Broken Blades event where players can acquire one of the new upcoming champions, Riven or Irelia, for free by completing various missions. However, if you want to save yourself time, you can also get them from the store by spending 5500 Blue Motes or 725 Wild Cores for each champion.

Duration of Broken Blades event

The Broken Blades event is underway and will be available for players to complete the missions and grab the respective champions and rewards till June 15, 2021.

To participate in this event, you need to login into the game and choose a champion, to unlock its missions and rewards.

Missions and Rewards

Since you must choose between Irelia and Riven before you can complete the missions to get rewards, the missions are also different for both of them. Here is a list of all the missions required to complete the event under Riven's banner:

Riven, The Exile's Primary Missions

Proven in Battle

• Objective: Play five games or participate in a First Blood takedown
• Rewards: Maidens of the Blade icon

This May Hurt

• Objective: Deal 65,000 damage to enemy champions
• Rewards: 150 Blue Motes

Last One Standing

• Objective: Play five games or win a game while having at least 15 takedowns
• Rewards: You've Been Exiled bauble

Rout Them!

• Objective: As a team, kill a total of 1,000 minions
• Rewards: 150 Blue Motes

Formidable Warrior

• Objective: Play five games or get a triple kill or greater
• Rewards: Broken Blades Champion Selection Chest (Riven or Irelia)

The Spoils of War

• Objective: Earn 60,000 gold
• Rewards: 150 Blue Motes

Leading the Vanguard

• Objective: Play five games or earn an S-rank medal
• Rewards: Broken Blades Pose Selection Chest (Riven Pose or Irelia Pose)

The Ancient Foe

• Objective: As a team, kill Baron Nashor two times
• Rewards: 150 Blue Motes

The Storm, and the Sword

• Objective: Play five games or as Riven, get a takedown on an enemy champion that was recently hit with Wind Slash.
• Rewards: Fury of the Blade icon

Secondary Missions

For the First Lands!

• Objective: Play five games or win a game playing as an Ionian champion
• Rewards: 20 Poro Coins

Challenge Accepted

• Objective: Deal 65,000 damage to enemy champions
• Rewards: 150 Blue Motes

Blind Their Scouts

• Objective: Play five games or destroy at least six enemy wards in a single game
• Rewards: 20 Poro Coins

Unworthy of the Blade

• Objective: As a team, kill a total of 1,000 minions
• Rewards: 150 Blue Motes

Light On Your Feet

• Objective: Play five games or win a game in under 14 minutes
• Rewards: 20 Poro Coins

All Ionia’s Riches

• Objective: Earn 60,000 gold
• Rewards: 150 Blue Motes

Pacify the Drakes

• Objective: Play five games or win a game where your team defeated at least two dragons
• Rewards: 20 Poro Coins

Triumph Over Oblivion

• Objective: As a team, kill Baron Nashor two times
• Rewards: 150 Blue Motes

Effortless Grace

• Objective: Play five games or as Irelia, use Bladesurge to dash to three different enemy champions within five seconds.
• Rewards: 20 Poro Coins
