What is MW3 tactical stance?

As we have already mentioned, this is a new mechanic that concerns the aiming system of the game, which, on certain occasions, is able to give players advantages. The MW3 tactical stance has been described as “the perfect middle ground between hip-fire and aiming down sights”, giving players the ability to have a tighter bullet spread and greater, faster mobility. Therefore, it is a hybrid that can certainly be useful in certain circumstances.

In fact, the developers of Modern Warfare 3 themselves have explained that this new game mechanic is ideal for close-quarter combat, so when you are close to many enemies and need to use a more aggressive approach. Furthermore, the very fact that it allows for greater mobility makes it the default choice while sliding. However, obviously, since this is a new feature that has been included in the game, you will have to get the hang of it, but don't worry because it is also possible to deactivate it in case you want a more traditional approach.

How to toggle MW3 tactical stance

Since this is a setting that you can choose to turn on and off at any time, it's important that you know how to do it. The first thing you need to know is that you can decide your own settings for this in the game menu. You can choose between Aim + Melee, Aim + Down and, in case you want to deactivate it, you will have to choose the OFF option.

The process for changing this setting is actually very simple and below we will explain in detail how to do it. The first thing is to go to Settings (located at the top right) and scroll until you find the Gameplay Settings item. Now, in this tab, scroll until you see the Tactical ADS Activation item and this is where you can choose the type of setting you prefer.
