Mere weeks after announcing his move from Twitch to YouTube Gaming, the 31-year-old content creator declared his signing with Complexity Gaming. It’s another significant stepping stone in the variety streamer’s career. Betar took to his YouTube stream with his reasoning for joining Complexity instead of other options such as 100 Thieves and FaZe Clan.
The content creator explained that he met with Complexity during a trip to Texas. This group included the organization’s co-owner Jerry Jones — who also owns the National Football League’s (NFL) Dallas Cowboys. As a diehard Cowboys fan, Betar spoke to Jones, and the two had similar interests in gaming. The 31-year-old stated that he had no plans of joining an esports organization unless it felt right. After meeting with Complexity in Dallas, he knew it was the right fit for him. It’s unclear what Betar’s stake in the Texas-based brand. Regardless, he is now a part-owner alongside Jerry Jones and John Goff.

After making his organization announcement, Betar revealed that he would be in Frisco, Texas, on Sunday for a pop-up merch shop and a Dallas Cowboys viewing party. More details about this event are expected to become available over the next few days.
Complexity Gaming is an established brand in esports and has been since 2003. Adding Betar to the team as a content creator and co-owner is a significant step. We’ll have to wait and see what he and his new organization have in store down the pike.
