Starfield: How to Change Appearance

We know it well, as with any self-respecting game of the genre, you will surely have spent a lot of time in Starfield character creation to create the perfect character, but we also know that players are very picky and that they always have something they don't like. Because of this, no matter how much time you spend creating your character, there will always be something you want to change along the way, but how do you do it? Do you know how to change appearance in Starfield? If the answer is no, fear not: in this guide we explain exactly how to do it.

Where and how to change appearance in Starfield

Starfield gives you the ability to change your character's appearance (and even their name) at any time after you first visit New Atlantis. Obviously, it will not be a free operation and therefore you will have to spend credits if you decide to change something about your character. But where to go to be able to do it? Don't worry, we tell you.

You can change your character's appearance at Enhance vendors which can be found in almost all major settlements. The first one you meet during your adventure is the one found in the Commercial District in New Atlantis. To get there, go to Jemison in the Alpha Centauri System and land in New Atlantis. In case you haven't unlocked the Commercial District fast travel yet, land at the spaceport and then head straight to the open courtyard you'll see ahead of you. At this point, turn left to join the New Atlantis Transit train and arrive at your destination.

Now that you've arrived at your destination, keep to the left and the Enhance vendor will be in a building with blue wavy lines. Unfortunately, there is no sign that can make it easier for you, but as soon as you get close enough you can see the abstract image of a face on a pear just behind the seller you are looking for.

Once you've cleared the hurdle of finding the vendor, it's all downhill. All you need to do is talk to him and pay 500 credits to be able to enter the Character Appearance editor screen. Once you have made all the desired changes, you will be asked to give your character a name again, which can be the same or a totally different one.
