Does Skull and Bones have character creation? Given the open-world nature of the title, as we have already explained to you in detail in another article, many are wondering if Skull and Bones character creation exists.
Once we begin our adventure in the game, could we decide how to appear? In this article, we will answer this question by giving you all the information you need.
Does Skull and Bones Have Character Creation?
Yes, in Skull and Bones, you can create a character and customize it. However, keep in mind that this is very limited customization. You won't be able to decide from scratch all the features you want your alter ego to have. You have prebuilt characters at your disposal, both men and women, from which you can start as a basis and then customize by changing different elements. Anyway, this customization isn't very deep either. Don't expect an editor like, for example, that of Cyberpunk 2077, which allowed you to decide anything.
Once you have completed some sort of introductory mission, you will be asked to create your character. After choosing the starting model, you can decide to change some features to make it more similar to you or to any other person and/or character. Among the various things you can customize are the hair, both for the hairstyle and the color; the color of the eyes; the physique (whether to make it thinner or more muscular); you can decide to add particular signs such as scars and tattoos; and you can also decide on the type of beard, both in terms of length and color.
At the beginning of the adventure, you will not have the opportunity to choose the clothing you can wear and it is actually a choice justified by what happens in terms of the plot (we will not say anything to avoid spoilers), but know that, once you reach a certain goal, you will also be able to change your appearance regarding clothing. Regarding clothing, we can say that there is a fairly well-stocked choice and you can decide whether to buy and/or unlock entire sets or individual parts of them to create a completely new one.
In short, Skull and Bones is certainly not a game that focuses much on the customization of your character. It gives you the ability to make changes and create a character that is a little different from the basic models, but nothing too exaggerated. You won't be able to change the shape of the face, eyes, nose, mouth, and all those other little things that can make players create practically any character.
On the other hand, the focus of the game is on ships. In fact, they are the true protagonists of Skull and Bones and can be customized in various ways.
