League Of Legends Rumor: Jactroll To Join Origen Ahead Of LEC Week Five

It looks like Jakub “Jactroll” Skurzński, is moving to Origen from Team Vitality.

He’ll join ahead of week five of the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) and will immediately replace Mitchell “Destiny” Shaw. Jactroll joins the Origen having been replaced by Pierre “Steeelback” Medjaldi at the end of 2019 and for BIG support Labros “Labrov” Papoutsakis.

Jactroll is yet to play in Summer Split, with the aforementioned Labrov taking on the main support duties. He spent close to three seasons with Team Vitality, after joining from H2K ahead of the 2018 season.

Time for Origen to turn it around?

In our most recent Power Rankings, we did not paint Origen with the nicest brush. They’ve become an enigma as they enter the second half of Summer Split. Origen has had most pundits calling them the third-best side in the league since they joined the LEC, but Origen continues to not deliver on that promise.

The biggest shame about this situation is that another up and coming rookie in Destiny is without a starting spot. He joined from the OPL at the start of the year, with a Worlds appearance on his resumé Destiny had a vocal following. It looks like, for Summer Split at least, the dream is over for Destiny. However, as the season draws to a close he might find himself picking up a new starting spot ahead of 2021 Spring Split.

As for Team Vitality, nothing really changes for them. Ironically, the side's last victory was against Origen, and they might look to bounce off of that result. We had them at ninth place in the Power Rankings, however, so we don’t hold out too much hope for them in Summer Split. As we said at the time, the best thing for Vitality to do now is preparing for Spring Split, and trying to pick up results from teams around them and hope for a miracle run into the LEC playoffs.
