How do you beat the Remnant 2 Awakened King Bruin Blade of the King boss? In the Remnant 2 DLC, you will have the opportunity to fight against completely new bosses, since this is an area that you will not have had the opportunity to explore in the main game. After meeting the Sunken Witch, in this DLC, you will also have the opportunity to deal with the Remnant 2 Awakened King Bruin Blade of the King boss that you will have to face and defeat. This boss, compared to the previous one, can be a little more complicated to kill, but in this article, we will tell you what strategy to use.
How to beat the Remnant 2 Awakened King Bruin Blade of the King boss
This boss is equipped with two swords that he will use for both melee and long-distance attacks. Fortunately, this time you will have a very spacious arena in which to fight, but don't be fooled by this, as it will still be a difficult battle to complete if you don't follow the right strategy. For this reason, we have decided to give you some advice on how to best face this clash.
Phase 1
The first thing you need to pay attention to is the boss's initial attack. This is a two-swing combo that, once deflected, will give you the opportunity to attack and/or heal yourself. If, however, the boss is at a distance, he will try to close the gap by charging his swords and running towards you to carry out a lethal attack. Therefore, pay close attention to this move and never let your guard down.
Another thing you need to keep in mind is energy animation. In fact, as soon as you see it, be ready to dodge or run to the opposite side of the arena. This way, the attack shouldn't hit you, but watch out for his two hit combos that follow this attack, so always be very careful. Also, another thing to know is that the Remnant 2 Awakened King Bruin Blade of the King boss is able to avoid projectiles and get in close to land melee attacks, so be very careful.
Phase 2
Once Bruin's health bar reaches halfway, the second phase of the battle will begin. In this phase, the boss will jump onto a platform above and release a barrier of swords, as well as summon mobs that will have the task of annoying you. Having to deal with both threats is certainly not the best thing to do, so our advice is to position yourself in such a way as to stand on the platform under that of the boss.
This will cause the boss to jump down, so be careful not to get hit, and you will have a chance to kill mobs without having to worry about the main boss. Use this moment to kill the various mobs and then go back to deal with Bruin to inflict the amount of damage necessary to kill him. Once defeated, you will receive, as a reward for having managed to face this battle, a wretched skull, a tome, five Lumenite crystals, and 500 scraps.
