The PS Plus Essential lineup for August 2023 is here

Sony has revealed the lineup of free PS Plus titles for the month of August 2023. The free PS Plus games typically are announced on the last Wednesday of the month and added on the subsequent Tuesday, with some exceptions here and there. The free PS Plus games for August 2023 followed this trend, and they will be available for download on August 1 for PlayStation Plus users.

It is important to note that the free PS Plus titles are available to all tiers of Sony's PlayStation Plus service subscribers. Those subscribed to PS Plus Essential can obtain the free titles, as can those subscribed to PS Plus Extra and Premium. In contrast to the other games offered through PS Plus Extra and Premium, users can retain the monthly free games for as long as they remain subscribed to the service.

PGA Tour 2K23

One of the best golf simulations in recent memory is now available to PS Plus subscribers. PGA Tour 2K23, which features Tiger Woods's comeback to the world of video game golf, offers fantastic swing mechanics, whether you play with an analog stick or a three-click method. It has many well-known courses, actual PGA pros, and engaging game modes, making it a worthwhile investment. The game's most notable feature is its powerful course creator, which has resulted in thousands of user-made courses. You and your pals can compete in events against people worldwide by joining an online community.

Death’s Door

Death's Door will probably be the most-played free PS Plus game for August 2023. When it first came out, Death's Door got great reviews, and it is usually thought to be one of the best games of 2021. Death's Door has a lot of things that fans of Dark Souls and The Legend of Zelda should like, so they ought to ensure to get it for free on August 1 through their PS Plus subscription.

Dreams

Media Molecule, the company that made Dreams, said earlier this year that it would stop updating the game on September 1. That doesn't mean you shouldn't check out the PlayStation-exclusive title at all. In fact, it's quite the opposite; this unique tool for making games has a vast library of user-made content, and people will be able to share their work with others for a long time. Dreams is an excellent example of the idea that the only thing that can stop you is your mind. Some outstanding games are made in Dreams, so even if you want to make something other than your own, there's a lot to look at.
