After you spawn into the world of Planet Crafter for the first time, the game will tell you to build and equip the essentials to be able to survive, such as an Oxygen Tank, a Backpack, and a chip, to be able to build the structures and machinery that will take you there. they will allow you to terraform the planet you landed on. However, after building these very first things, the game will ask you to start building the first devices and structures.

The problem will arise when the game asks you to build a Heater, which will allow you, as you can imagine from the name, to heat the planet to make it habitable. To build this machine, however, in addition to the resources that you can find very easily at the standard spawn point, there will also be some Iridium. This resource is not found near your spawn point, but you will have to walk a bit in a north-east direction.

Planet Crafter Heater: How to Craft it

So, once you've been able to get some Iradium, you can return to your home base and craft a Heater. In addition to 1x Iradium, you will also need 1x Silicon, and 1x Iron. Luckily for you, these other resources will be found in abundance right near the spawn point, so you won't have any problems obtaining them.

Once you have all the resources you need, all you have to do is open the crafting menu and create it. However, keep in mind that you will first have to reach certain terraforming parameters in order to unlock the blueprint that is capable of building this machine. To be honest, building everything asked of you previously will be enough to unlock the blueprint.

Note: As soon as you start the game and create your world for the first time, in addition to being able to choose the difficulty and the spawn point, you can also decide whether to have all the blueprints unlocked from the beginning. However, keep in mind that this will disable the unlocking of achievements.

Another thing to keep in mind regarding the creation of the Heater in Planet Crafter is the fact that it must necessarily be inserted inside one of your bases; it cannot be placed outside. Accordingly, build your first base in such a way that everything necessary can fit inside it. In reality, a simple component base is enough if you organize things inside it in the right way.

Note: Heaters come in different tiers, but the one you will be able to craft at the start of your adventure is T1. As you increase the terraformation percentage of the planet, Planet Crafter will give you the opportunity to craft better and better Heaters, up to T4.
