After defeating Yoshiro's partner, Lady Marie, you will have the chance to fight another member of Yoshiro's family, namely his father. The Persona 5 Tactica Yoshiki boss fight is not as simple as the one against Lady Marie, so you will have to keep several things in mind and have a good strategy to be able to complete it. In this article, therefore, we will explain how to prevail against the Persona 5 Tactica Yoshiki boss and be able to continue your adventure.
How to beat Persona 5 Tactica Yoshiki
As happened with the boss fight against Lady Marie, the one against Yoshiki is also made up of three different phases. As already mentioned, this boss fight will be more complex than the previous one because you will also have to deal with several mobs that you will have to kill before you can actually hit and inflict damage on the boss. In any case, below, we explain everything in detail.
Phase 1
The first phase of the battle will begin with the game itself suggesting you go in the direction of an elevator with a switch in the center. Have all the characters enter inside and press the switch to be taken to the upper floor of the building. As soon as you arrive, the real battle will begin against this boss, who, as soon as he sees you, will make use of his Emblem of Love move, which will allow him to create an area of yellow squares. Avoid that area at all costs, as this is where the boss will direct his attacks for the next few turns.
The first phase is actually straightforward and there is nothing special to report. advance fighting until you reach the next elevator. Climb onto it with all your characters and go down. From this position, you will have the opportunity to shoot Yoshiki, so take advantage of it. By doing so, however, you will be thrown back by the same boss, which will thus begin the second phase of the battle.
Phase 2
In this second phase of the battle, security cameras will be added, which you will have to try to avoid at all costs. In fact, if you fall within their range of vision, you will be catapulted close to the nearest object and reinforcements will be called to attack you. For this reason, therefore, it is vitally important that you use an excellent strategy to try to avoid all the cameras as much as possible in order to make the battle easier for you. Also, be careful that some enemies will use the cameras as cover, so be extremely careful when using melee attacks.
At this point, your goal is to go towards the elevator that is on the right. Have all your characters go in that direction and get on the elevator, but don't go down yet. Before doing so, in fact, make sure that your turn ends in the upper part of the building, so as to have an advantage. In fact, at this point, more enemies will arrive that you will have to eliminate as you go in the direction of the switch on the left. Leave one of your characters there and continue with the other two.
However, during this phase of the battle, pay attention to the new move that Yoshiki will use called Love at First Sight. Characters who are hit by this move will have a pink emblem above them and will have to face a wall. Otherwise, Yoshiki will throw the characters affected by this status near the nearest hard object, so try to absolutely avoid it if you don't want to retrace the path you've already taken.
Finally, in order to conclude this second phase of the battle, continue moving and fighting until you reach the elevators on the right. Keep in mind that you will have to use both the switches in the front and the ones in the back in order to get down to the ground floor. At this point, get back into position and shoot Yoshiki. This will cause the map to reset for the last time, starting the third and final phase of the battle.
Phase 3
As soon as the third phase of the battle begins, go left to pass the surveillance cameras without being seen. Although they block the switch that will allow you to go to Yoshiki, you won't have to worry too much about this, as we will explain how to reach him and finally be able to put an end to this exhausting battle against Yoshiki.
What you will have to do is go around the first left column and leave one of your characters in the center aisle. The other two, however, you will have to send up and leave them on the upper platform, which is on the left. Once this is done, you will witness a cutscene and see Yuki arrive with the townfolks. Do you remember the cameras that blocked the switch to go to Yoshiki? Well, now you don't have to worry about it anymore. In fact, Yuki and the others will disable them and then you will be able to reach the boss.
However, before proceeding towards him, you will have to eliminate the shield enemies that block your way. Make use of the two characters you have on the platform to defeat one and use an all-out attack. By doing so, in fact, you will be able to damage other enemies and therefore you will have the possibility of eliminating them without too many problems. At this point, once the enemies have been eliminated, all you have to do is shoot Yoshiki again to be able to use another all-out attack and end the fight.
