Build Saddles and armor pieces faster with the best Palworld leather farm spots!
Palworld has exploded into the scene for its obvious inspirations as well as its deeply intuitive survival mechanics. It's basically Pokemon paired with Monster Hunter with a dash of Ark: Survival Evolved. And like every survival game, players starting out in Palworld's 32-man lobbies start out with crafting basic gear, and that involves farming Leather.
As you ride starter Pals like Melpacca and Direhowl to help you explore the game's vast, open-world environs, you might come across Leather in your travels. The material is typically used for starter gear, but in Palworld, you use Leather to sustain workbenches and repair mid-game equipment, which is pretty essential when you're facing off against the game's brutal poaching syndicate.
Unfortunately, the Palworld devs haven't added a base structure that lets you automatically farm leather. If you think about it, it'd be pretty ruthless to make your fluffy Pal workers skin and tan the skin of other Pals. So while we wait for future updates, here are the best spots for your Palworld leather farm.

Palworld Leather Farm Locations
With the lack of any anutomated structures, we're unfortunately left to hunt Pals for their Leather for the time being. That said, it's easy to find Leather around the starter areas. Keep an eye out for these early-game Pals that drop Leather:
- Chillet
- Direhowl
- Fenglope
- Foxparks
- Fuack
- Fuddler
- Find the Rayne Syndicate Tower and head into the cave nearby.
- Gorirat
- Grizzbolt
- Incineram
- Mossanda
- Nox
- Nitewing
- Pyrin
- Reindrix
Palworld takes a lot of obvious inspiration from monster-collector titles like Minecraft and Ark: Survival Evolved. In line with this, Palworld spreads the leaders of its nefarious poaching syndicate across the map. Certain Pals also serve as hard-to-catch bosses in small areas of the map. - Rushoar
