A little over a week left before Play-ins start, Riot announced the casters and analysts for their English broadcast.
Broadcast talent is a big part of every competition, especially esports tournaments. Many of the legendary moments fans remember are legendary with the casting adding to them. So, it is normal that English-speaking Worlds 2022 audiences were waiting excitedly for the broadcast talent to be announced, to see their favorites would be amongst them.
When it comes to on-air talent, Riot certainly doesn’t suffer from a lack of talent. Both their in-studio productions in LCS and LEC are host to some of the favorite personalities in the scene, like Clayton “CaptainFlowers” Raines or Marc Robert “Caedrel” Lamont, as many of them also stream or produce content online.
As we just have one more week before the main League event of 2022 kicks off, Riot finally confirmed which talent would be on the month-long broadcast. There will be a total of 22 on-air talent working during Worlds 2022. The broadcast team will be working out of the LCS studio in Los Angeles as their home base for a remote cast during the New Mexico Play-ins, but they will travel to location for the remaining stages of Worlds 2022. This will be the first time since 2019 that a Worlds event will have in-venue coverage, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
While we know which casters and analysts will be working on the event, Riot has not released detailed information on which talent will be casting in which stage, or who will be casting the Playoffs series.
