As we approach the initial release date, here’s a complete No Rest for the Wicked early access roadmap for you to look forward to.
No Rest for the Wicked is going on Early Access soon, and the ARPG is blowing up with anticipation. For one, the game is from Moon Studios, the developer team behind the two Ori games that we all know and love. Secondly, everything that we’ve seen about the game, from the trailers to the previews, looks stunningly beautiful.
But what are the devs cooking behind the scenes to keep the players coming back to it as it leads up to version 1.0? And what can you expect from the early access of the game?
These are the questions that we’ll answer in this article. Let’s get started!
Devs Reveal No Rest for the Wicked Early Access Roadmap
No Rest for the Wicked is by no means a low-profile release. With stunning visuals and precision combat gameplay, this game is designed to cater to both hardcore gamers and casuals.
The early access of the game will feature the first chapter of the game along with some side quests that expand upon the lore of the world. There will be plenty of different weapons and armors and gear upgrades that you can try out to test different builds. You’ll also get to fight a handful of bosses.
According to the official Steam page, you can also purchase and furnish a modifiable home in the early access release. Other than that, the Daily and Weekly bounties and challenges are also available for all players.
The early access will also come with replayable Cerim Crucible Dungeons. But you can only access that after wrapping up the available campaign content. Think of it as a blend of the dungeons in Diablo 1 and Hades.
New content will be added as the development of the game continues leading up to its full release.
Following the early access release of No Rest for the Wicked, the first to arrive will be the multiplayer features. The devs are planning both a 4 player co-op and a PVP option for the game.
The second chapter of the roadmap is more promising for solo players. New story chapters are planned to get added and you’ll also get access to a larger map with new areas to explore. The early access will give players access to the following zones:
- The Shallows
- Orban Glades
- Sacrament
- Nameless Pass
- The Black Trench
However, with the first story update, players will be able to explore three more regions:
- Marin Woods
- Lowland Meadows
- Hunter’s Vale
Here’s a quick rundown of everything the devs have planned for the future of No Rest for the Wicked.
- Multiplayer: 4-player co-op and PVP
- Expanded story content and chapters
- Expanded map regions
- More farming options
- A greater arsenal of weapons, armor, rare items, and gear
No Rest for the Wicked early access will be available on April 18th on PC via Steam. On full release, it will also be available on Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
