Nintendo Announced a New Series of Bundles and Free Games

Nintendo has announced a new series of Switch bundles, including a Mario Kart 8 edition, an Animal Crossing edition and a Sports edition. 

Nintendo is one of the world’s leading multinational video game and video game consoles Japanese company. They have produced some of the most successful consoles in the world which includes the beloved Nintendo Switch console.

They have also developed some exclusive franchises, including Mario, Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Bros., Pokémon and Animal Crossing. For this reason, the company has released multiple editions of their consoles which have either been themed or just value bundles.

Most recently, they announced the upcoming game release, Super Mario Bros. Wonder and a special Switch OLED edition with it. Now, they have revealed the new series of upcoming bundles which are different editions along with free games and here’s everything we know about it.

In tweets posted to both their America and Europe’s official Twitter accounts, 3 new series of bundles were announced. All 3 of the bundles were officially announced on September 5, 2023. Here’s the tweet that was posted to Nintendo of America’s official Twitter account: 

The Nintendo Switch — Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle arrives 10/6!

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Edition Bundle will be launching on October 6, 2023, in North America. The bundle will include the standard edition of the Switch, which has a blue and red console.

The bundle will also include a free games copy of the digital version of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe which retails for $59.99 USD. It will also have a three-month individual membership code for Nintendo Switch Online, which retails for $7.99 USD.

The price of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Edition Bundle is $299.99 USD which is the retail cost of the Switch by itself. Hence, those who buy this bundle series will be saving around $67.99 USD, a good deal if we’ve ever seen one! 

As for Nintendo of Europe, they are also releasing an exclusive bundle series. Here’s the tweet that was posted to the European official Twitter account:

The Nintendo Switch Sports Edition Bundle will be launching on October 20, 2023, in Europe. The bundle will include the standard edition of the Switch, which has the classic blue and red console. This bundle will also include a free games copy of the digital version of the game which retails for $39.99 USD.

This bundle will also have a three-month individual membership code for Nintendo Switch Online which retails for $7.99 USD. The price of the  Nintendo Switch Sports Edition Bundle is $299.99 USD which is the retail cost of the Switch by itself.

Hence, those who buy this bundle series will be saving around $47.99 USD, which is also a good deal! 

Lastly, the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Switch Lite Bundles will be launching along with the other bundles in both North America and Europe.

There are 2 editions of the bundle, where one is Isabelle’s Aloha Edition and the other is Timmy and Tommy’s Aloha Edition. Both of the switches have the Animal Crossing leaf logo on the front and the classic leaf pattern on the back. The Isabelle’s Aloha Edition Switch Lite is pink while the Timmy and Tommy’s Aloha Edition Switch Lite is blue in color. 

Both of these bundles will include a free gamescopy of the digital version of Animal Crossing: New Horizons which retails for $59.99 USD. The price of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Switch Lite Bundles is $199.99 USD which is the retail cost of the Switch by itself. 

Hence, those who buy this bundle series’ will be saving $59.99 USD in total. They are known for releasing many bundles over the years, but this is the first time they are releasing bundles with hardware and free games. Hence, make sure to keep an eye on when the bundles are released to buy one for yourself.
