Until they dropped a bombshell or announcement… they are collaborating with fellow developers, The MIX Games on a game project. The game project in question is, you guessed it, another NES and other modern consoles game since that is Wallride Game’s forte. This time, the game they’re developing is inspired by the classic Nickelodeon series, “Rugrats.” The name of the game is “Rugrats: Adventure in Gamelands” and it is an arcade-like game. On September 1st, The MIX Games and Wallride Games announced that they are collaborating on a project and creating a game together. The game in question is inspired by the cult-classic Nickelodeon series, “Rugrats.” The game is named “Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland” and it is a neo-retro puzzle-based arcade-like game. The game is made for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), PC and other modern consoles or systems. The game’s description on the official page is interesting and captivating, to say the least. Here’s what was written in the game’s description on the official page:

As you can see from the description of the game, it is going to be centered around Tommy, Chuckie, Phil and Lil’s adventures. The game is going to be following the babies as they play in an imaginary world that they transform Tommy’s house into. Further, they mentioned a few key features of the game which are given as follows:

  • Explore 6 different levels throughout the Pickles' residence
  • Collect Reptar coins to unlock the mysterious Reptar door!
  • Team up with a friend for some two-player co-op fun!
  • HD version features hand drawn animations to match the cartoon’s style
  • Players can toggle between 8bit and HD art

According to a statement released by the developers of the game, the game is to be running with the classic NES style on PC and all consoles. This time, they also incorporated the feature to be able to change to HD graphics if the player wants it. On PC and other consoles, players will be able to play the game in the original style of the Nickelodeon cartoon with the classic hand-drawn characters and backgrounds. Of course, the NES won’t be able to use the HD options because it won’t be supported. The developers further said that they included a 2 player co-op where players can embark on the game’s adventure with a buddy in tow.
