What Is Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 True Legends?

The Modern Warfare 3 True Legends event is a tribute to military veterans, reflecting the Call of Duty franchise's commitment to community engagement and philanthropy. Call of Duty runs a non-profit program called the Call of Duty Endowment, which is dedicated to assisting military veterans in securing top-tier career opportunities. True Legends is a limited-time event specifically designed to champion and support the Endowment cause.

All proceeds generated from this event will be directed towards supporting the charitable efforts of the Call of Duty Endowment.

What Are The MW3 True Legends Rewards?

MW3 players have the chance to obtain 10 unique in-game items from the True Legends campaign. To acquire this complimentary loot, players only need to participate in different game modes and earn experience points (XP). The event operates through a system of 10 tiers, each with specific milestones to achieve. As players progress through these tiers, they unlock a new reward upon completion, allowing them to collect an array of thrilling items steadily. These are the items up for grabs:

In contrast to typical Call of Duty events, the Modern Warfare 3 True Legends rewards are exclusively earned through match XP. There are no distinct currencies or challenge mechanisms linked to this event.

True Legends only monitors account XP, not weapon XP. Take advantage of any available XP boosters to enhance your progress, as these boosters provide extra advancement. Players who have already reached the maximum level can still amass XP and be part of this campaign.

How To Participate In The MW3 True Legends Event?

Participating in the True Legends Event is as simple as playing the game and accumulating XP once the event launches. Yet, for players seeking additional unique rewards and expedited leveling, there's an option to acquire the Call of Duty Endowment Warrior Pack, available for $9.99. This exclusive pack is the sole gateway to unlocking the Koa King operator skin, alongside many other exclusive prizes.

When Does MW3 True Legends Start?

Initially set to begin on November 15, 2023, and wrap up on November 22, 2023, the True Legends Event's launch, as announced by Activision, did not proceed as planned. Acknowledging the delay, Activision addressed the issue via a tweet, promising to disclose the revised event launch date to their audience shortly.

After a two-day delay, the event finally went live on November 17, allowing gamers to participate in the campaign until November 24.
