LoL News: Qiyana Live on the PBE, Ability Overview

League of Legends newest champion, the solo-lane assassin Qiyana, is now live on the PBE.

Riot released Qiyana on the Public Beta Environment today, meaning that players can now get their hands on League of Legends’ newest champion. Qiyana's PBE release comes with some interesting mechanics for the character, as the champion can channel energy from the map, like the river, brush, or even walls. Depending on what she is currently channeling from, her spells will have different or additional effects.

Abilities

Passive – Royal Privilege

The first attack or ability against an enemy champ deals bonus damage. This cooldown resets when she draws a new element.

Q – Edge of Ixtal

Qiyana slashes the area in front of her dealing damage. If her weapon is using an element, her weapon hurls forward as a projectile and explodes.

River – Roots opponents on hit.

Wall – Deals bonus damage to units with low health.

Brush – Leaves a stealth trail that gives movement speed.

W – Terrashape

Targeting an element, Qiyana dashes forward to gather its power. While enchanted, she gains movement speed near the element, attack speed, and bonus damage.

E – Audacity

Qiyana dashes a fixed distance towards a target, dealing damage to them.

R – Supreme Display of Talent

Qiyana creates a shockwave, knocking back enemies. Any River, Brush, or Wall hit by the shockwave then explodes dealing damage and briefly stunning enemies.

Getting into the PBE

Trying to get your hands on the newest League of Legends champion? Make sure to download the PBE! It’s a separate client, and there are a few boxes you have to check before you can get in. Players must link their main account with their PBE account here first. In order to be eligible, your main account “must be in good standing (no current bans) and be honor level 3 or above.”

Once you’ve linked your accounts, simply download the PBE client from the same page and pray no one locks in Qiyana before you. Good luck on the Rift!
