As reported earlier, Fnatic former jungler Broxah is set to sign for NA LCS champions Team Liquid.
Earlier on we spoke about a number of changes to Fnatic, most notably the signing of SK Gaming jungler Oskar “Selfmad” Boderek which seemed to set the stage for Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen to depart. ESPN has now confirmed the news and it looks like Team Liquid is the destination for Broxah.
Broxah has been a pivotal part of Fnatic in the past few years, especially in 2019 when he looked be playing a vital role in Fnatic’s overall game management. He was also a major part of making rookie mid laner Tim “Nemesis” Lipovšek come out of his shell in the second part of the 2019 season after the rookie struggled to settle into the shoes of former Fnatic mid laner Rasmus “Caps” Borregaard Winther.
Rumors were aplenty since the start of 2019 of a falling out between Broxah and Rekkles, something that Broxah has stated on multiple occasions this preseason as being false and that the pairs rumored ‘fight’ at the start of the 2019 season was rubbish. Regardless of what did or didn’t happen, however, we won’t see the pair playing side-by-side in 2020.
Broxah joins a Team Liquid side that’s just secured another LCS title and hell look to slot into a formidable roster made up of Jung ‘Impact’ Eon-yeong, Nicolaj ‘ Jensen’ Jensen, Yiliang ‘ Doublelift’ Peng and Jo ‘CoreJJ’ Yong-in.
