League of Legends: KT Rolster Part with Entire Starting Roster

Korizon is reporting that KT Rolster has parted ways with its entire starting lineup which includes Song ‘Smeb’ Kyung-ho, Hwang ‘Kingen’ Seong-hoon, Go ‘Score’ Dong-bin, Gwak ‘BDD’ Bo-seong, Kim ‘PraY ‘ Jong-in and Jeon ‘Zenith’ Tae-gwon.

KT Rolster finished the most recent LCK split in eighth-place after a disappointing Summer split following on from a ninth-place finish in the previous Spring Split.

KT Rolster did announce, however, that they continue to “negotiate with the players despite the contract being over.”

Where Does the Team Go From Here?

It’s unusual to see a team lose its entire roster at the end of the season. The team over at KT Rolster clearly has a plan in place and we might even see some of the players remain at the team in 2020. An alternative is that they plan to resign the majority of the roster but will use the bargaining power of the players being free agents to its advantage.
