Gen.G has confirmed its roster for the 2020 season with the signing of Rascal, CLid and Bdd.
Gen.G has confirmed a triple swoop to complete its roster for the 2020 season. They’ve signed Kim “Rascal” Kwang-hee, Kim “CLid” Tae-min and Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong. Reports also state that the contract length for Rascal sits at two years. While Clid and Bdd have signed on for three years.
The three will join current Gen.G bot lane duo Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk and Kim “Life” Jeong-min. The team already looks like a deadly force in the 2020 LCK. A league that has a lot of work to do regaining some of the region’s pride after three poor Worlds performances in a row.
Gen.G finished the LCK 2019 Summer and Spring splits in sixth and seventh place respectively. The team experimented in 2019. Trying a number of changes in the three lanes. These have been replaced today, with only Ruller and Life being consistent starters in the past year.
While it’s impossible to know how a team will do based on three additions, especially with team synergy always an obvious issue. Gen.G will hope, however, that keeping its bot lane duo and adding, what they obviously see as three improved additions we could see Gen.G challenge again in 2020 in the LCK and possibly the world stage.
