LCS Summer Split 2022 Starts On June 17

LCS has announced the starting date for the LCS Summer Split 2022 and the tickets are available, so let’s take a look at the schedule.

After nearly two years of playing without crowds, LCS finally saw fans coming back to the studio and stadium during the 2022 Spring Playoffs. Despite the pandemic still around, the numbers are slowing down, and most traditional sports have been playing in crowded stadiums for a while.

The Finals in Houston have been a great success for Riot. There was a massive crowd going crazy over Evil Geniuses' win, and the hype for native players like Jojopyun and Danny is still going strong. If you are one of those people, you’d be happy to learn that fans will be permitted into the studio for the Summer Split, and the tickets are on sale.

According to the announcement, the prices are $20 for general seating, and stageside or front row seats are $30. Buying a ticket will come with some perks other than access to the LCS studio:

  • A pregame tailgate experience with custom booths staffed by LCS teams and sponsors.
  • The ROCCAT Arcade, where fans can play all the latest titles from Riot Games.
  • LCS concessions, stocked with all the Donger Dogs and nachos a fan could want.

It is important to remember that there are still some health and safety rules attendees have to follow. To enter the LCS Studio, ticket buyers must either show proof of vaccination status or provide a negative Covid-19 test within 48 hours of the event. Masks still will be required while you are indoors, but Riot will provide them if you forget to bring yours.

The LCS Summer Split 2022 will consist of an eight-week-long double round-robin, with five games played on Saturday and Sunday, except Weeks 1 and 8. After the regular season, the top eight teams will be seeded to the LCS Summer Playoffs, the winner being crowned the LCS Champion. The 2nd and 3rd place teams will join the champions as NA representatives at the 2022 World Championship.
