How to Get Sequestered Mane in Granblue Fantasy: Relink

In this article will be discussing how to get Sequestered Mane in Granblue Fantasy: Relink.

In Granblue Fantasy: Relink, there’s an abundance of materials you can farm and grind, a lot of which will help your progression in the game and enable you to have better equipment for late-game content. One of these said materials is the Sequestered Mane, and it’s an item that lets you increase the level cap of weapons up to level 150.

The Sequestered Mane is most definitely something that must be farmed at the endgame, given how rare and difficult it is to obtain. Not to mention, you won’t even be needing this item until very late in the game anyway!

We’ll be looking at the ways you can obtain this precious material so you can take your weapons to the next level and substantially increase your damage output. Let’s get to it.

How to Get Sequestered Mane – Two Ways

Sequestered Mane can be obtained through two ways, both of which we will be going through. That being said, you can only farm this item through one quest only, the Saga Illustrated: Crystal Quest.

The Saga Illustrated: Crystal quest can prove to be quite challenging, especially because of the fact that it’s a Maniac-Level difficulty boss quest. You might be wondering what boss is in question, and it’s none other than Managarmr, the giant ice wolf boss from Chapter 5: Shadows in the Snowscape. The Sequestered Mane is dropped completely on random, so get ready to steel your resolve and go through the quest a few times.

Managarmr is considered to be a primal beast in the lands of Granblue Fantasy, one that can manipulate the power of ice and call forth blizzards to strike down foes and enemies. He’s notably weak to Earth characters, so it’s highly recommended you have at least one in your team before attempting the quest.

All of his attacks are ice-based and some of them can hit pretty hard, especially moves like Silver Wolf Surge, where he’ll swipe across the ground, indicated by a red line showing the trajectory, followed by a sweeping Ice Ray across the battlefield. You can hide behind the ice pillars in the battlefield during the final ray.

Then there’s the Death’s Threshold attack, where he’ll reduce the size of the arena and let forth an Ice Storm, during which you’ll have to hide behind pillars to avoid any damage.

Trading for Sequestered Manes

If you’re not up to fighting Managarmr over and over again for a chance of getting Sequestered Manes, then there’s an alternative option for you. Sierro’s Knickknack Shack will happily give you these rare materials, as long as you’re willing to give them x5 Gold Dahlia Badges for each Sequestered Mane.

The big catch is that Gold Dahlia Badges are only dropped upon defeating Quick Quests, and even then, they’re dropped randomly. Unless you use a Gold Dahlia Voucher.

Either way, you’re gonna have to dedicate quite a bit of time to farm these Sequestered Manes, but at the end of the day, they’re an investment that’s gonna help your characters bring out their max potential.
