The Madrinas Coffee logo will be present on the team's jerseys and stocked in the team's various facilities. The partnership will also include various marketing and sales efforts. Their fans will even be able to try it during the LCS tailgate this Saturday!
Having a healthier option for energy is a major point of this partnership. “As the first esports team to partner with Madrinas Coffee, we are looking forward to providing a healthier form of energy to both our LCS and Academy Team rosters” said the Head of Golden State Warriors Esports Hunter Leigh.
Energy drink sponsorship are no stranger to the esports industry. Monster Energy is partnered with the successful Team Liquid, and Red Bull works with famous streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins. Various other streamers and teams proudly display these kinds of logos. Madrinas Coffee is different because of their product's healthier value.
“As the first esports team to partner with Madrinas Coffee, we are looking forward to providing a healthier form of energy to both our LCS and Academy Team rosters” said the Head of Golden State Warriors Esports Hunter Leigh. Stereotypes about unhealthy diets for gamers have long existed, but Madrinas is a healthier alternative to typical drinks.
This isn't the first gaming venture the company has made though. They have sponsorship deals with Cohh Carnage and Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek. They are making their way into esports, and could make a splash in the rapidly growing industry.
Proud of you @shroud for going back & picking up the can 🤙 #recycledogood https://t.co/2GOeY3kInj

The Golden Guardians, the esports division of the successful Golden State Warriors NBA team, has struggled in the LCS recently. They finished at the bottom of the rankings in both splits last year, and are near the bottom now. Critics repeatedly say the team needs some changes, but could this be what they need?
“Madrinas Coffee will fuel long days and nights of matches, practice, and film review – Madrinas Coffee is coffee4fuel. Now let’s get that #GGSWIN” said Co-Founder of Madrinas Coffe Alex Davis. Hopefully this give the team the fuel they need to step up in the standings.
