Gamescom 2024 Reveals – All the Latest News from Germany

One of the most anticipated moments of the year has arrived: Gamescom 2024 is about to begin. Like every year, this year too Cologne will become the focal point of gaming from 21 to 25 August. However, all eyes are also on the opening ceremony, namely the Opening Night Live, which has accustomed us to great surprises in recent years.

Gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live How to Watch

The very famous Geoff Keighley will once again be the host of the Opening Night Live, which will be held tonight at 8pm CEST. As usual, it will be possible to watch the event from the comfort of your own home thanks to the various options made available by the organizers. In fact, you will be able to watch the live streaming on YouTube or on the official website of the event.

This is definitely an event that video game enthusiasts absolutely cannot miss, because it serves to kick off what will be a week full of announcements. In fact, there are already some games that have been confirmed and that will surely be shown during this Gamescom 2024, such as:

2K Games and Gearbox Studios have officially announced Borderlands 4, scheduled for release in 2025.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Goat Simulator Remastered is coming later this year.

Released just today, Black Myth: Wukong shows off an intense video that includes cinematic and gameplay scenes.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero

As expected, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, a new and highly anticipated game based on the manga series, was also shown. The game is coming on October 11.

King of Meat

A very funny video also showed King of Meat, a dungeon creator where you can play with friends.

Lynked: Banner of the Spark

Lynked: Banner of the Spark, a co-op hack ‘n’ slash game where you take on the role of one of the few surviving humans on Earth, was first shown during Opening Night Live. The game is coming to Early Access on October 22.

Lost Records: Bloom and Rage

From the creators of Life is Strange, we got to see the world premiere of Lost Record: Bloom and Rage, which appears to be a continuation of the previous games.

No More Room in Hell 2

A very short video gave us a look at what will be No More Room in Hell 2, coming soon for different platforms.

ARC Raiders

ARC Raiders is a survival shooter coming in 2025.

Infinity Nikki

A cute video showed us the upcoming release of Infinity Nikki, a game set in a fantasy world inhabited by small creatures.

Spacemarine 2

A very short video reminded us that Spacemarine 2 will soon be available in Early Access.

Predecessor

Predecessor is a game that takes inspiration from the famous Overwatch and similar games and is now available in a free-to-play format.

Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2 finally has an Early Access release date, set for November 15th.

Dune Awakening

The open world MMO Dune Awakening has shown off its capabilities in a lengthy gameplay video, which also announced its release date, set for early 2025 for PC.

Reanimal

Tarsier Studios, the creators of Little Nightmares 1 and 2, have announced a new horror game called Reanimal that perfectly captures the atmosphere of the aforementioned games.

Genshin Impact New Content and Xbox Release

Genshin Impact showed off new content coming later this month in a video and also announced that the game will be available on Xbox later this year.

Monster Hunter Wilds

The Monster Hunter Wilds producer took the stage at Opening Night Live to show off a new trailer for the game coming in 2025.

Naraka x Tomb Raider

A Naraka and Tomb Raider collaboration is coming on August 28th.

Fatal Fury

Fatal Fury has been shown in a gameplay video and is coming on April 24, 2025.
