Fandom Partners with Riot Games to Deliver a Four Week Teamfight Tactics Tournament

Global entertainment platform Fandom has announced a partnership with Riot Games and State Farm to start a Teamfight Tactics tournament. Dubbed Fandom Legends: Teamfight Tactics, this tournament will start on December 1st and run over the course of four weeks.

Every week there will be 16 competitors who will battle for a $2,000 prize pool. The top two players from each week will also qualify for a spot in the State Farm Championship Finals. The Finals will occur on December 21st and have a prize pool of $5,000.

The contestants will consist of recognizable top-tier players as well as rising talent that can make it through the qualifiers.”We look forward to growing our existing relationship with Riot Games in order to provide the Teamfight Tactics community with weekly tournaments. In addition to hosting known top players, we are opening a path for new and upcoming talent to make a name for themselves online” Head of Gaming and Esports Sales at Fandom Sean Kiely said.

Fandom has run a multitude of tournaments in the past in titles like Madden, FIFA and Magic: The Gathering. Their partnership with Riot Games and State Farm in the budding Teamfight Tactics esports scene is bound to be a great step forward.

The tournament will be broadcast live on Twitch on December 1st, 5th, 12th, 19th and 21st.
