F1 Manager 24 Best Setups for Each Track

Here are our F1 Manager 24 Best Setups for Each Track.

F1 Manager 24 continues the series' tradition of using the track setup “minigame” to perfect your car. We're still on the fence as to both how we feel about it, and how much it helps. But, it looks bad having a number under 80% so, we've come up with some generic setups that have worked for us most of the time. Note, that you will need to tweak these slightly, with each car, driver, etc being different (especially if car parts alter per driver) but these will give you a good start.

After the generic section, we will also include a few “perfect” setups that we used while doing a full review of the game. Before that a quote note about the fact these setups should work for the F1 Manager 23 Setups as well, if you've found you way to this article instead.

F1 Manager 23 Setups and F1 Manager 22 Setups

One important note before we get into the F1 Manager 24 setups is, the below stats and inputs can be used for previous games. Obviously, any tracks added or removed won't work… but those that were in F1 Manager 23 and 22 will work just as well. We've not done much testing, but we know from the 22 setups working for 23 that it should all be the same. At least for the generic setups for F1 Manager, we're sure you'll be fine. Especially the setups system, which isn't the most liked as it is, but it's also not one that has seen many changes. Maybe we get a full rework in the future, until then, we have you covered. Hopefully, we won't just be using the same one for F1 Manager 25… but you never know.

Best Generic F1 Manager Setups for Each Track

The below should get you to 80% plus at least on most tracks. Some are closer to perfect while others will drop below 80%. So remember to tweak them slightly yourself. We've done a fair bit of testing with these, and while it's not perfect, these will give you a strong footing to prepare for a race. It's also worth noting that, the Setup system has not changed since it was introduced, which makes sense because the feature always feels like more of a burden for most people.

Anyway, these setups will get you to a good level, and give you the amount of % you need. Which, in fairness, during our testing, we found anything over 70% was more than enough.

If you want to get the best out of any setup, it's a good idea to know who the best drivers are. Thankfully, we have you covered there in our Driver rating article. Alternatively, we've got some tips & tricks for everyone else.

F1 Manager 24 best setups

Here are some of our 100% setups that we found while reviewing F1 Manager 24. Your mileage will vary, for full clarity these setups were used with a create a team, team, and we were using either Piastri or Botas. But these are the F1 Manager 24 best setups that we found.

Note – we have now done a full season with the numbers below being at least 90%+. However, when we did a second season, all these numbers needed to be tweaked slightly. Either the numbers above, or those below should be perfect, or close to it but it's always worth doing some tweaking.

There is also a “bug” where if you input these numbers and simulate a session the numbers are reset, this caused us to lose most a season of data when we finally realised this was happening.

F1 Manager 24 Setup Tips

  • Understand Your Drivers: Tailor setups based on driver preferences and strengths. Use drivers' feedback to refine car setups for each track. This might not give you 100% but a more aggressive driver or better at overtaking can utilise different setups.
  • Focus on Car Development: Prioritize upgrades in aerodynamics, chassis, and engine. Consider your team's budget and the potential impact on performance. This will directly improve your F1 Manager setup stats.
  • Track Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with each track's characteristics. Adjust setups to enhance performance on specific circuit types.
  • Tire Management: Pay attention to tire wear and temperature. Adjust strategies to ensure optimal tyre performance throughout the race. A key note in practice is to make sure to use fresh tyres and not run a set to the ground. A general rule of thumb that I use is to run mediums for two sessions and soft for one. Assuming the track is dry.
  • Practice Sessions: Utilize practice sessions to gather data and fine-tune your setups before qualifying and the race.
  • Race Strategy: Develop flexible race strategies, including pit stop timings and tyre choices, based on track conditions and competitor behaviour.
  • Monitor Weather Conditions: Adapt your strategy and car setup based on changing weather, which can significantly affect performance.

These tips should help your F1 Manager 24 best setups and utilize them to the max.
