Ascendant's announcement went a little under the radar, but that's not to say the game doesn't show potential to become a flagship. The closed beta is now upon us; therefore, you may need to have some more information on the game.
In this article, in fact, we will tell you everything you need to know about the game so that you will know what to expect once you have the chance to try it. Let's see together, in detail, the various features of Ascendant.
Ascendant Features and More
Ascendant is a game where you team up with others and use tactics to win. There are exciting moments that make your heart race, and the game keeps changing to keep you on your toes. You will play in a crazy world where danger is everywhere. Your job is to fight for resources and escape with more than just your pride.
Bio-Punk World
The world has become a scary place because of something called the Cascade. Some things like hairspray, sunglasses, and heavy metal music survived, which is good. But the changes made to nature to try and fix things actually made it worse. Now, the creatures out there are even scarier and better at hurting us. But you have some cool weapons and technology to fight them.
Weapons
Each person is unique, like a special snowflake. That's why it's important to have a weapon that matches who you are. Luckily, you can change your weapons to fit your style of playing and your plan for winning. Make them look however you want, give them a name, show them off, and then use them to shoot down your enemies.
You can make lots of changes to your weapons, so they're just right for you. You can get your sniper to shoot like a big explosion, or you can get your rifle to glow and light up your enemies. You can have whatever you like. And when you change how your weapons look, it also changes how they work, so you can have even more fun defeating your enemies.
Adaption
In Ascendant, the key here is to be flexible. Everything keeps changing in this world. The map, the tactics, the teams, the plans, and the surprises — they're never the same each time you play. One day, rooms will be open for you to explore. The next day, they might be closed, and your team might be in trouble. Get used to it, because if your team isn't paying attention, you won't stand a chance of getting those important cores.
Remember, there are four teams all fighting for the same three cores. You can't just rush in without a plan. If you want to succeed, you need to think ahead, work together, and be ready for unexpected changes. It's like chess, but with more action and less politeness.
Customization
You can customize the way your character looks. Pick from lots of options to make your character look like a futuristic, 80s-style version of yourself. Maybe you want to be like the stylish David Bowie, or maybe you prefer the tough look of the Terminator. Or maybe a mix of both. Whatever you choose, it's going to get messy with blood soon anyway.
The Lobby
When you're not shooting or trying to survive, you can chill out in the lobby, called the shade. It's not just a boring waiting area. The shade is full of cool stuff, like a lively hub after the world's gone crazy. You can hang out with other players, chat, solve tricky puzzles, challenge someone to a duel, test out weapons and cars, get ready for the next mission, or just play games like hide and seek. These are all fun things to do and help you forget that you might die soon.
