Ever since its initial announcement in 2018 at the E3 Convention, the name of The Elder Scrolls 6 disappeared off the face of Earth. Fortunately, after 5 full years, Bethesda Softworks have broken their silence and released information about the game. When talking to the publishing head and vice president of Bethesda Softworks, Pete Hines, about the upcoming release of their ARPG game, Starfield, the talks about Elder Scrolls Online came up. When asked about the game, Hines has revealed that The Elder Scrolls 6 has finished pre-production. The game has now entered the early development stage and is in the making. He told the press that fans won’t be hearing much about the game since it just entered development.

Asked further about the game, Hines said that fans will get to know more about the game after Starfield is released in September 2023. He also asserted that the fans won’t be able to play the game until at least another 5 years later. He said that Starfield is Bethesda’s primary focus for now and they won’t be talking about anything else for a while. On the other hand, Bethesda Softworks’ director, Todd Howard told the press that he would have announced the news about The Elder Scrolls 6 more casually. The only thing that fans got to see of the game is a 36-second-long teaser trailer at the E3 Convention in 2018…and that’s about all that we have now.

The lack of information regarding the game is likely because it is very far away from launching anytime soon. Fans will have to wait a lot longer to play another fantasy ARPG game by Bethesda Game Studios. Hence, make sure to stay tuned because we will keep you updated with more news on The Elder Scrolls 6!
