EA FC 24 Live Event Confirms Crossplay Compatibility

EA has officially announced that cross-play functionality is available for certain modes on platforms of the same generation. It is, however, important to mention that cross-play is not accessible on the Switch version.

Although the developers have not provided confirmation for every game mode regarding crossplay, given its growing importance in recent game releases, we anticipate that the Ultimate Team mode in EA FC 24 will have this functionality.

EA has made an exciting revelation, stating that cross-play will be available in Pro Clubs for the first time ever. Renamed as Clubs, this game mode introduces a brand new season format that leads to the thrilling Playoffs.

Nintendo Switch Release

The highly anticipated EA Sports FC 24 is making its way to the Switch, marking EA's first significant football game on Nintendo's console since FIFA 2019. As stated in the eShop listing, EA Sports will be utilizing the Frostbite Engine directly in their Nintendo Switch title for the very first time. Switch players will also get to enjoy the game’s Ultimate Team mode.

Female Players In FIFA Ultimate Team

Matching the rumors that went abuzz over the past few months, EA Sports has confirmed that female footballers will be available in FIFA Ultimate Team. Even though EA Sports include female players in previous FIFA games, none of them made an appearance in the Ultimate Team mode before.

Mobile Game Announced

EA Sports has also announced that it will be introducing two new mobile games. The EA Sports FC Mobile will be the continuation of the current FIFA mobile game. Current FIFA Mobile players can migrate to the game via Google Play and Apple Store updates in late September. The second mobile game will be the next version of EA Sports Tactical Football, which will be known as FC Tactical. EA CEO Andrew Wilson described FC Tactical as a “turn-based strategy game offering entirely new ways to experience the world's game”.

The latest announcement for EA FC 24 brings exciting benefits for EA Play members. From September 22nd, members can indulge in a 10-hour early access trial, allowing them to immerse themselves in the game before its official release. Moreover, EA Play subscribers can enjoy recurring member rewards, a 10% discount on FC Points, and more, all at the affordable price of $4.99 per month, with the convenience of canceling anytime. Opting for the EA Play Pro Edition unlocks exclusive content, including the highly anticipated UEFA Champions League Ultimate Team Hero Player Item on November 27th, as well as up to 7 days of early access starting from September 22nd.
