Activision continues to supply its latest game in the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, with brand-new content and updates as the season progresses. Since we are almost halfway to Season 2, we have received tons of news and teasers about Season 2 Reloaded coming out in early March. Considering how some changes have affected the start of Season 2, we can expect the Season 2 Reloaded to be just as exciting for the CoD Community.

So, let's take a deep dive and see everything we know so far about CoD MW3 Season 2 Reloaded.

CoD MW3 Season 2 Reloaded – Everything We Know So Far

Every season, Activision aims to add more content and updates to CoD MW3. Since late December of last year, these updates have received great feedback from fans. Same as before, Season 2 Reloaded also aims to improve the game's state and give players more stuff to try out. The update is set to be released on March 6 of this year.

This update contains content for every mode including Multiplayer and Zombies. New game modes, returning fan-favorite maps and tons of other stuff are set to be added very soon. New events are also lined up to go live very soon.

Multiplayer

Multiplayer will have some very cool new updates which include new game modes and events. Even an old favorite map from previous a Call of Duty title is set to be added to the game. Let's take a look at these updates in detail.

New Game modes

So far we only know of three game modes that are set to join the multiplayer mode in the Season 2 Reloaded update. These are mentioned below.

  • Juggermosh: This will be a limited-time mode where all players will be in Juggernaut suits for the entire time and will play a match of Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint or Domination.
  • Bounty: Same as Team Deathmatch but each team will have an HVT (high-value-target), which is going to be the player with the most kills. Killing an HVT will give out more points to a team. The HVT will alternate throughout a match.
  • Vortex: Decay’s Realm: This will be a limited-time playlist of TDM, Kill Confirmed, Domination and Hardpoint on Vortex maps. These maps will include Airbourne, Skidgrow, Sporeyard, Tetanus and Satan’s Quarry.

New Map – Da Haus

Da Haus is a map from Call of Duty: Vanguard and it will be making a return in Modern Warfare 3. It will be revamped and modernized to fit the timeline, but overall gameplay-wise everything should be the same. The map will featured as a 6v6 Core Map.

Zombies

New mechanics and features will be added to the zombies mode. There will be story missions, new schematics and even an all-new warlord to be added. All these will definitely improve the experience for Zombies players and add more content to go through for the rest of the season.

Dark Aether

  • Dark Aether Story: Operation Deadbolt Strike Teams are looking to face off with a new anomaly in the Exclusion Zone. There will be new missions for the players to finish which will progress the story further.
  • Second Rift: A new rift will appear which will bring you to the biggest infested Stronghold in the game so far, giving players a new challenge to conquer.

New Schematics

A few new schematics are set to make an entrance in the CoD: Zombies servers for players to check out. These include Mags of Holding, V-R11 Wonder Weapon and a Blood Burner Key.

  • Mags of Holding: Activating Mags of Holding will allow you to feed ammo to your gun directly from your ammo stash, meaning you don’t have to reload to transfer weapons from your stash to your weapon through a magazine. You will be able to fire away as long as you have ammo in your stash.
  • V-R11 Wonder Weapon: The V-R11 Wonder Weapon Schematic has a unique ability to turn enemies and zombies on the battlefield into allies temporarily. However, friendly-fie with this schematic will turn your allies into zombies who will act against you.
  • Blood Burner Key: With the Blood Burner Key, you don’t have to look for the Blood Burner Wonder Vehicle on the map. You can summon the motorbike using the key for convenience.

New Warlord – Keres

Keres will be the new warlord to be added in CoD MW3: Zombies. He will be available on the map near the Orlov Military Base. Since he will be a trap focused Warlord boss, his base will have lots of traps like gas mines and other things. Right now there aren’t many details about Keres as we still have quite sometime before the update.

So far two new weapons and and two events have been announced for the Season 2 Relaunched update. It is possible that more weapons and other future events will be teased as we approach closer to the date of the update. Considering how successful updates like these have been during the past few months, Activision will definitely attempt to add more events.

New Weapons

  • SOA Subverter
  • Soulrender

New Events

  • Vortex: Decay’s Realm Event
  • Dune: Rule of Fate Event

When he's not sighing at sub-standard teammates in Dota 2 and CS2, The Old One is writing about those two games (among other things). If you see his name around the site too many times for your liking, well, the guy just never stops writing. Yes, we've tried an intervention.
