The final eight teams in the Pro-Am Classic are confirmed
The Call of Duty League Pro-Am Classic has finished its round of pool play. Finalizing the last eight teams for the single elimination bracket. While amateur rosters gave it their best shot, the final eight teams are all professional rosters, with Ultra Academy NA narrowly missing out on the Head-to-Head map count.
Pro-Am Classic Day 2 Recap
In the second day of the Call of Duty League Pro-Am Classic, the amateur teams showed they can beat the pros. In the first match of the day, Ultra Academy NA completed another reverse sweep as they took down Boston Breach. Ultra Academy NA suffered a tough map one loss, before a 6-5 loss in Map two, seeing them 0-2 down in the series. However, a quick bounce back in the Control flipped the momentum, and they went on to finish off the reverse sweep and go 2-0 in the group.
However, after a 3-1 loss to Paris Legion later in the night, Ultra Academy NA were sent home from the Pro-Am. Due to a head-to-head tiebreaker, seeing them exit in devastating fashion. Ultra Academy NA were the only amateur team to pick up a win last night, as Strike X dominated Seattle Surge in a 3-1 victory. However, that was it for the amateurs, and they have all since been sent home from the Pro-Am.
