Last Epoch allows you to play the game both online and offline. You may be wondering if you can move characters between online and offline modes and we're here to answer that.
The RPG Last Epoch allows you to create your own characters and excel at the game. Your characters can be built with unique sets of abilities and appearances making them completely unique. If you started off playing the game offline and are finally ready to take your adventures online, you might want to take your character with you.
Can You Move Characters Between Online and Offline Modes in Last Epoch?
Last Epoch, unfortunately, does not allow you to transfer your character between game modes. Once you create your character, they are designated as either an online character or offline character. You, therefore, have to be very careful when creating your character as once designated to a game mode, they can't be changed back.
The two game modes vary greatly as well. In the offline mode you can transfer, share and modify your characters. This is because all the character data is saved locally. You can also modify your characters after creating them because of this slight tweak.
In online mode, you cannot transfer, share, or modify characters. This is done to help prevent instances of cheating amongst players. Since you cannot transfer characters, you can't make them change game modes either.
The online and offline modes have a different set of characters. So, during your playthrough, make sure to designate your character for one mode.
