Stay tuned to this article to discover LoL's three best Teemo counters.

Best Teemo Counters in LoL

Urgot

LoL Discounted Skins and Champions Urgot

Urgot has risen the ranks since patch 14.7 and is now one of the strongest top laners in the game. More importantly, Urgot is among the best champions to pick into Teemo. With a little bit of Magic Resistance, Urgot shouldn’t struggle in this lane.

Just make sure to have solid vision with control wards to avoid his Shrooms. If you hit one, however, use your E safely, as you will have a shield, taking less damage in the process. Try and keep the lane close to your tower, his damage could potentially proc a tower hit.

On top of that, if you have Flash and or Ghost, you can chase him down with your abilities. Make sure you hit your Q onto him; this will apply a slow that he will struggle to get away from even with the added movement speed from his W. Your ultimate will also apply a slow, so if he is trading you, that works in your favor.

Sion

Although Teemo can be a pain for Sion in the lane, you will come out ahead if you play it smartly. This is because Sion scales extremely well, and players would rather have a beefed-up Sion with a few thousand health than Teemo, who will only really help secure objectives.

However, Sion can still cause some damage in the lane. Teemo can interrupt your Q, but if you use your other abilities first, this will cause Teemo to preemptively use his Q. So the key is to wait out the duration of the blind and then charge up your Q. Because Teemo is squishy, this will do a lot of damage to him.

Tahm Kench

Tahm Kench is the ultimate lane bully, and even with blinds from Teemo, it shouldn’t be a problem for him. Tahm relies on consistent trades, as this applies his passive. You want to keep the lane closer to you, and you can use your W to either get behind him, or dive on top of him.

If you can do this, Teemo is as good as dead. Once you have your ultimate, you can completely shut him out of this lane. The only thing you need to make sure of is to keep your health at bay, Teemo can whittle you down and then call the jungler over.

Worst Champion To Pick Into Teemo In League of Legends

In a Marksmen vs Marksmen matchup, Vayne is definitely the worst top lane pick into Teemo in League of Legends. Once Teemo lands his Q, which blinds enemy champions, making them miss their auto attacks for a small duration. This is all Teemo needs to do in this lane.

Walk up to Vayne, hit her with his Q, and do a few auto attacks before walking away. This will slowly get her health bar low enough that you could all in as most Teemo players run ignite in this match-up. Once both champions have their ultimates up, Teemo straight up wins this match-up.

There is a very good chance that Vayne will roll or walk into at least two Shrooms, and by that point, she is unable to continue the 1v1. The only thing Teemo players need to watch out for is standing next to a wall, as Vaynes’ E can stun champions up against the wall.
