Best Karma Counters League of Legends

Do you need help laning against Karma in League of Legends? Don't worry—here are the best champions to help you climb the LoL ladder.

Karma is one of the best poke champions in the game. She can play multiple roles but is primarily a support champion. Her poke does an incredible amount of damage in the early game and can be a late-game carry even as support. The question is, how do you stop Karma from one-shotting your squishy teammates? This article will bring you the three best Karma counters in the support position in League of Legends right now.

Best Karma Counters in LoL

Pyke

LoL Discounted Skins and Champions Blood Moon Pyke

Although Karma is one of the stronger supports in the early game, Pyke is an excellent champion at catching her out of position. Karma enjoys sitting in the bushes early because she can poke with her empowered Q. This is where Pyke is a great champion because he can aggressively force Karma out of the bushes by Q’ing her and then dashing away or dashing in for a stun if she is low health. Pyke is also a great champion to use for removing enemy vision. Umbral Glaive allows for the champion to auto-attack a ward to kill it. There is a small cooldown on it but with Pykes’ invisibility, he should have no trouble getting in and out of dodge.

Sona

Sona is a great champion who can play into Karma in League of Legends. Although she cannot apply the same burst damage as Karma, she can provide healing and shields that allow you and the ADC to stay in the lane. If Karma goes up to stun you, use your Q and empowered auto attack to reply with good damage. Your ADC should also be able to hit Karma with any damage to get her to back away. Getting control of the bushes in the lane is vital, as a good Karma player will just look to sit in there and throw her Q at will to burst you and the wave. Warding is vital as Karma can be a surprisingly good engager as she can speed up her ADC and the Jungler with a Mantra + E combination.

Blitzcrank

The best way to deal with a poke champion is to throw Blitzcrank onto the rift. Blitz is the ultimate disrupter of what Karma wants to do. Simply walking forward, Blitz will apply enough pressure to the point where Karma cannot throw her Q out because she will not be in range. Try to bait out Karma using her shield, which gives added movement speed. She will often use it on her ADC, but this is when you can catch her out by using your hook on Karma instead.

Worst Champion To Pick Into Karma In League of Legends

Morgana does have a decent amount of waveclear and pick potential with her Q, but once her Black Shield is down, she is really vulnerable in the lane. This is what makes Karma such a good counter to Morgana. Use your W as much as possible on either the enemy ADC or Morgana, her E cooldown is rather long, so try and engage once it is down. She isn’t the tankiest champion in the support position either, so make sure to get in the lane bushes and try to poke her out as much as possible.
