FaZe Clan has found a home in the recently announced Call of Duty League for 2020. They will be making a new home in Atlanta with the unveiling of The Atlanta FaZe. The titan organization is working with Atlanta Esports Ventures, owner of the Overwatch League team, the Atlanta Reign.
FaZe Clan has been a prominent organization in both Call of Duty and the entire esports scene. While they have become popular in part to their Youtuber roster, therefore this return to the heart of their organization is a refreshing move. “FaZe Clan has its roots in Call of Duty and participating in this inaugural league enables us to remain true to that rich heritage,” said Lee Trink, CEO of FaZe Clan. “We are excited to partner with AEV and begin this new chapter for FaZe, in making Atlanta a new home.”

Their roster for the 2020 CDL season in bringing Chris ‘Simp‘ Lehr, Tyler ‘aBeZy‘ Pharris, McArthur ‘Cellium‘ Jovel, Michael ‘MajorManiak‘ Szymaniak, and Preston ‘Priestahh‘ Greiner. Priestahh and Cellium will have the least amount of adjusting to do being previous FaZe Clan members. However, Priestahh had a run with 100 Thieves for half a year making an impressive run at CWL Anaheim and CWL London this year.
The pinnacle of this team will come from the two long-time SMG gods aBeZy and Simp. Their run on eUnited was insane, taking first place at CWL Pro League 2019, CWL Pro League 2019 Playoffs, and the Call of Duty World League Championship 2019. The two have history and Atlanta FaZe is looking to become the dominant force in the CDL 2020 season.
