Dreadnoughtus

This dinosaur is part of the Extinction DLC. It is an herbivorous dinosaur that is characterized by a long neck and a series of blue shadings that are visible on it and on its back. It is a very large dinosaur and you will certainly not have a hard time seeing it during your explorations, thanks to the fact that it is large in size. The Dreadnoughtus takes on the appearance of a very similar dinosaur that actually existed, even if it is a version reimagined by the developers. Also, another thing you need to know is that it will be possible to tame and ride this dinosaur.

Fasolasuchus

This dinosaur, as you can also guess from the photo below, is one of those that belongs to the carnivore family. It is very similar to a large lizard, but unlike the most common lizards we know today, it is not at all docile and is actually very aggressive. What makes this dinosaur even more dangerous is the presence of poisonous spikes on its back, which are capable of inflicting significant damage. However, despite this, Fasolasuchus can be tamed.

Shastasaurus

Shastasaurus is the only one of the ARK Survival Ascended dinosaurs that falls into the aquatic dinosaur category. Despite this and its large size, it is still a dinosaur that can be tamed. Given its nature, therefore, it is a very useful dinosaur to use if you have to cross rivers, lakes, or seas, in order to make your crossing faster and also safer.

Gigantoraptor

This is one of two new ARK Survival Ascended dinosaurs that can be attributed to the bird ancestor class. The Gigantoraptor is, as its name suggests, a large dinosaur, with a body covered in feathers. However, don't be fooled by its appearance because it is actually a very dangerous creature. If you intend to tame it, our advice is certainly to proceed with this adventure with a young specimen, as adult specimens will be much more difficult and dangerous to approach.

Rhyniognatha

This is a creature that looks a lot like a large insect that uses resin as a defense weapon. It is an omnivorous creature, so anything can become its meal. The important thing to know about this creature is that it is able to make its shield softer or harder and cast resin with varying degrees of hardness, so you will have to be very careful. Although this creature can be tamed, it is actually a very slow process that will require you to use a lot of pheromones.

Yi Ling

The Yi Ling is the other of the two ARK Survival Ascended dinosaurs that can be considered an ancestor of birds. It is an omnipresent dinosaur that prefers solitude to company, facilitated by the fact that it is still quite powerful in size. Despite its size, however, it is still an agile and fast dinosaur. Furthermore, it is a very useful dinosaur for your hunting trips and does not require much effort as it can eat practically anything.
