How to Start Honor Duel in AFK Journey

The first thing to know, of course, is how you get started with this mode in AFK Journey. There are, in fact, some things to take into consideration. Once you start Honor Duel in AFK Journey, you will have the possibility to choose a combo team, that is, the combination of two characters and an artifact.

For this reason, each team is practically different from the other, each with its own characteristics and peculiarities. The choice will fall on one team rather than another based on what your goals are, what your way of playing is, and which characters you feel most comfortable with.

Another thing to know about this AFK Journey mode is that you will be able to earn artifact XP when you take part in battles or when you ascend your characters. Once you have reached the necessary experience, the artifact will level up, and when it reaches two stars, you will automatically obtain another artifact.

It costs 18 honor badges, but if you're lucky, you might get duplicates to make your heroes even stronger. Once you've got your main team sorted, you can sell any extra heroes you don't need.

After a few wins, you can start buying better gear and more copies of specific heroes. Sometimes, the store might not have the heroes you want, so you'll need to hit the refresh button. It only costs 3 honor badges, so it's totally worth it to refresh a few times until you find what you need. With more hero copies, your heroes get stronger, and your artifacts level up. If you see something you need but don't have enough honor badges, you can lock it in. This means you can buy it next time you're in the shop.

Before the big fight begins, you get to pick where three of your heroes stand on the battlefield. Once you've chosen their spots, your opponent can see them, and you can see theirs too. One thing to note is that once you have set them up, they can't be moved around, so choose wisely.
