Activision Announces Call of Duty: Mobile – Masters

COD Mobile esports has added a new Masters competition.
Activision has revealed a new Masters tournament featuring the best Call of Duty: Mobile esports teams in both North America and Europe. The teams will compete for a $100,000 prize pool split between each region and slots in the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2021.

The Master competition is a semi-invitational program featuring 16 teams from North America and Europe. The teams will compete in their respective regions in a league-style play over the course of five weeks. Top teams of the regions will get direct invites based on recent tournament results and current player standings.
Other teams will also enter the competition through open qualifiers held from May 29-30. Players 18 years old or above can register to take part in the program. Post five weeks, the top eight teams from each region will advance to Call of Duty: Mobile – Masters Finals. The winners of Masters’ Finals will book their spot in the COD Mobile World Championship tournament.
Matches will take place on each Monday from June 14 to July 12. Twitch and the Call of Duty: Mobile Esports YouTube channel will stream the tournament live, it will also be available to watch on other streaming platforms too. Activision will announce details of Call of Duty: Mobile – Masters’ Finals on a later date.
