Toronto Ultra Announced as CDL 2023 Major 5 Hosts

Toronto Ultra is running it back, hosting Major 5 in 2023, the team has announced.

Toronto Ultra has been one of the most loved Call of Duty League teams since its inaugural season in 2020. Following two years of an utterly European starting roster, Toronto Ultra have changed up their team for the 2023 Modern Warfare 2 season, bringing in Standy and Scrappy. They join veterans of the six, Insight and CleanX, to round out Ultra’s starting roster for the upcoming season.

COD League 2023 Schedule

The Call of Duty League announced four Major hosts for this year, as we kick off the year in Raleigh, North Carolina, for Major 1. Major 1 includes much more than just the Call of Duty League tournament, as this will be a pro-am that features amateur teams. Alongside this, there will also be a Challengers Cup, and the COD Mobile World Championships.

Next, we head to Boston, where the Breach hosts their first CDL Major in just their second season as a team. Boston Breach have exploded in the Call of Duty League, bringing in many new fans and setting an example for some of the older organizations. They host their first Major this year, before we head to Texas for Major 3. Major 3 will be hosted by OpTic Texas, and will, without a doubt, bring the biggest crowd of them all.

Finally, we round out the year with the New York Subliners hosting Major 4, and Toronto Ultra now confirmed as hosts of Major 5. Last year’s Major in Toronto was incredible, and many players said it was one of the best events they had ever played at. So it was only right they got the chance to run it back.

The 2023 Call of Duty League season will conclude with the Championship Weekend, rumored to be in Los Angeles once again. However, this will be confirmed closer to the end of the season.
