Saint And Reppin Reveal Recruitment Process For New Minnesota Rokkr Team

During the Minnesota Rokkr’s Press Conference, Saint and Reppin revealed their recruitment process behind the 2021 roster.

Today we were lucky enough to be invited to the Minnesota Rokkr’s press conference to talk to their new roster, their coaches and COO Brett Diamond. We asked about the Minnesota Rokkr’s recruitment strategy behind this new 2021 roster, and why Dillon “Attach” Price, Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi, Preston “Priestahh” Greiner and Michael “MajorManiak” Szymaniak were the right choice.

Brian “Saint” Baroska spoke about their recruitment process first:

“After not extending our +1’s with anyone on our former roster we had the ability to look at every single player on the market. First, we reached out to the available players and we asked ‘who do you want to play with?' We didn't want to throw together a team with no interest in teaming with each other. We primarily went to players but when players came to us we would tell them to come back with three other players who they wanted to play with. Once we got a broad spectrum of every team out there we weighed out all the options and this team was without a doubt the best.”

Reppin chimes in

Jake “Reppin” Trobaugh added to the conversation:

“First and foremost we had to decide if we wanted to extend any of our players’ contracts. We opted against that and from that point we had to speculate and find out what players were not going to be extended from other franchises. At first, it started as a guessing game but after further due diligence, we were able to narrow it down to our available options. It became apparent that there was a world where we could get Accuracy, we figured if we could get Accuracy then we could also get Attach. After talking to those we asked who they wanted to play with, MajorManiak was the obvious option for both and then after that point, everyone was thinking, ‘how do we get Preston?'”

This gives us an excellent insight into how the two Minnesota Rokkr coaches Saintt and Reppin went about putting together this new roster. This way of building a team really puts the players first and ensures that they are happy and playing with players who they really believe are teammates rather than colleagues.
