PSGL Round 8 is here at the home of Red Bull Racing. The Red Bull Ring is in Spielberg, Austria.
PSGL (Premier Sim Gaming Leagues) is back with round 8 at the Red Bull Ring which sits in the mountains of Austria. This track is one of the shortest tracks on the calendar with a lap time of around 1:03.00 while doing qualifying runs. Last week they raced around Losail International Circuit for the first-ever time in PSGL history and Brendon Leigh came out on top getting him his first win of Season 34.
Red Bull Ring is a track that is considered one of the most basic tracks in Formula 1 with very little technical challenge for drivers. This track also has only 10 corners and 3 of which are heavy braking zones that make for good overtaking. This track also has 3 DRS zones which is a lot considering how small this track is. This is roughly 50% of the track where you can open your rear wing. Overtaking is very prominent on this track which will give the drivers a challenge to defend from anyone behind them.
This is the last track to be announced in this season as we expect races 8-11 to be announced either before or after this event. Round 9 is expected to go ahead next week but we have no confirmation on where.
