PSGL Round 7 is here with a relatively new track to Formula 1. Losail International Circuit, Qatar.
PSGL (Premier Sim Gaming Leagues) is back with round 7 at the Losail International Circuit which is a very technical track for the drivers to perfect. Last week the drivers raced at the home of Formula 1 which is Silverstone. Lucas Blakeley won which was his first win of the season bringing him up to 5th in the drivers standings. This result also helped bring McLaren up to 3rd in the constructors championship.
Losail is a track that is very technical compared to most Formula 1 tracks. With only one long straight the rest of the circuit consists of fast cornering sections as well as a few slow sharp corners that are great for late braking and overtaking. The only DRS zone runs down the whole pit straight giving the drivers a huge advantage in overtaking. With the DRS zone being this long it gives you more than enough time to overtake and gain a gap on the cars near you. As most of the cornering sections are high-speed tyre wear is prominent and nursing them home will be important without losing too much time on the way. It is very easy to spin out in the high-speed corners especially on older tyres or cold ones so the drivers will have to try and keep them on the limit without hurting their chances of a DNF.
This is the first time PSGL has raced at Losail so this isn't a race you would want to miss. Drama is expected and a new winner could pop out and take the all needed points from this race to help them in season 34.
