PSGL Round 5 is here with another long-time Formula 1 track Hungaroring.
PSGL (Premier Sim Gaming Leagues) is back with round 5 at the Hungaroring in Hungary. Last week PSGL went racing in Brazil to start off the season again after a points reset due to game bugs that were noticed before the first patch was released. Bari Broumand (Season 33's Driver Champion) won the race taking him to the top of the driver's standings and taking Ferrari to the top of the constructor's standings as well. The Hungaroring has two DRS zones and lots of high-speed corners which will take a toll on the tyres so managing them will be a challenge. We will more than likely see a mix of soft and medium tyres or some may switch to hards if there is an early safety car which is possible as turn one is very sharp for 20 cars to fit around.
Hungaroring has a nice mix of slow and high-speed corners. With both DRS zones being at the beginning of each lap they allow for two great overtaking zones. If you overtake into turn one you are also likely to gain the edge by keeping DRS for the second zone as well which will further the gap from the car you are racing. With only one long straight a high downforce set-up is expected to push the cars into the track for better cornering.
PSGL Round 5 was supposed to be hosted in Las Vegas but all drivers reported that the kerbs felt like there was an RNG grip each time they drove over them. This concluded a vote to skip the track for now with the possibility to come back to it later in the season.
