Last night Season one of Challengers Elite concluded, here are your winners.
Season One of the Call of Duty Challengers Elite concluded last night, with NYSL Academy and RAMS taking home the $20K first place prize. The Challengers Elite sees the top eight Challengers teams compete in their own league, with $50K up for grabs in each season. Last night the winners were crowned, here’s how it happened.
North America – NYSL Academy
New York Subliners Academy took home first place after a 3-1 victory against WestR in the final. However, this wasn't easy. Their semi-final matchup against UT Crew required a reverse sweep with some incredible plays from Saints to win the series and get their spot in the Grand Finals. Here, they defeated WestR 3-1 and took home $20K.
Europe – RAMS
The Spanish roster of RAMS took home the victory in Europe. Recently they have really stepped up, winning two Challengers Cups and performing extremely well in the Elite. RAMS defeated Trainhard in their semi-final matchup, but the Grand Final victory took a Round 11 clutch from them to win it in Game Five. This was a great series and saw some incredible Call of Duty being played.
Season Two of Challengers Elite begins on March 16, where the top eight teams from both regions will battle it out once again.
