People are freaking out on Twitter already, including official COD League teams, the Seattle Surge and London Royal Ravens.
The possibilities of what exactly will be released in the next few weeks are unknown. But there's already heavy speculation for a few new maps. This includes some classic ones remade, and the return of beloved Call of Duty character, Simon “Ghost” Riley.
Riley has appeared as a British special forces operator in multiple installments of the series. Including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 2: Ghost. As well as Find Makarov: Operation Kingfish and Call of Duty: Heroes. So his role in this next installment of Modern Warfare could be huge or minuscule — depending on much new content is headed our way.
A few people have already started talking about a new sniper rifle. But until the drop finally happens on February 11th, your guess is as good as ours.
