Minnesota Rokkr Release Entire Squad Ahead Of 2021 Call of Duty League Season

Following the release of two players yesterday, the Minnesota Rokkr has gone on to release the entire roster ahead of the 2021 season

Yesterday it was announced that both GodRx and TTinyy had been released from the Minnesota Rokkr going into the 2021 Call of Duty League season. However, the rest of the team will now be joining them as we learn that the whole roster has been released. The Minnesota Rokkr will undergo a complete rebuild going into the 2021 Black Ops Cold War season.

In addition to Adam “GodRx” Brown and Devin “TTinyy” Robinson; Assault, Exceed, Alexx, Asim and SiLLY have all been released from the squad.

Adam “Assault” Garcia

Assault began his Call of Duty career in 2014 during the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season. He is a 2018 Call of Duty World Champion and MVP winning under Evil Geniuses. He has also placed second at multiple CDL and CWL events.

Kaden “Exceed” Stockdale

Exceed started competing last year during the Black Ops 4 season and placed top 12 at the 2019 World Championships with Sicario. While he was a substitute all season, his chance came at the 2020 Championships where he subbed in for GodRx. However, the Rokkr had no success and went home after two straight losses.

Alex “Alexx” Carpenter

Alexx started his career in the 2017 Call of Duty: World War 2 season and has played for many top EU teams including Lightning Pandas, Denial Esports and Reciprocity. Alexx has played for both Reciprocity and UniLAD with Bradley “Wuskin” Marshall, so could we see the two brits team again next season?

Obaid “Asim” Asim

Asim began competing last year during the 2019 Black Ops 4 season where he played for FaZe Clan Black and FaZe Clan. He had a fairly successful year placing 3rd at the CWL Pro League Playoffs and 4th at CWL Anaheim. Asim also personally performed very well this year, both with the SMG and AR.

Justin “SiLLY” Fargo-Palmer

SiLLY is another vetran player who has been competing since 2009 in MLG tournaments. However, his CWL professional debut came during the 2014 Advanced Warfare season. He went on to play for teams such as Cloud9 and EUnited before joining Evil Geniuses and winning the 2018 World Championships.

The Minneota Rokkr now have no players remaining on their roster heading into the 2021 season. While it is possible they could resign these players in a few weeks on a different contract, it seems that this is not the case given their “goodbye” messages on Twitter.
