ROKKR are bringing more live events to the CDL Season in 2023.
The Call of Duty League season consists of five Major LAN events, and the Championship Weekend to complete the year. However, Minnesota ROKKR are bringing more events for the fans this year, hosting two Home Series events that see ROKKR play two LAN matches per day in front of a live audience.
ROKKR announced the two Home Series events would take place in Madison, Wisconsin and St. Paul, Minnesota. The Madison event will take place at the Orpheum Theater on Saturday, April 1 and the St. Paul event will take place at Palace Theatre on Saturday, May 6.
“We’re thrilled to announce the reimagined Røkkr Home Series, which brings regional, live esports events to fans of Call of Duty in Minnesota and Wisconsin,” says Brett Diamond, chief operating officer at Version1. “The development of this concept was inspired by the passion we’ve seen from Røkkr fans, who have brought incredible energy to our past live events, watch parties and supporting the team on the road. We look forward to bringing this entertainment experience to Wisconsin for the first time, and to creating another opportunity for Twin Cities esports and gaming fans to take in the competitive action first-hand and in person in downtown St. Paul.”
Minnesota ROKKR have continued to be at the forefront of innovation in the Call of Duty League, and this announcement is another first from the team at Version 1 and Minnesota ROKKR.
