League of Legends: Alienware Revealed as the Presenting Sponsor of Rift Rivals 2019

Riot Games announced today that Alienware will be the presenting sponsor for 2019’s iteration of Rift Rivals which will see teams from North America and Europe duke it out for the top spot.


In an official press release, Riot Games has revealed that Alienware will be the presenting sponsor of Rift Rivals 2019.

Alienware is already the official PC and display hardware provider for the League Championship Series, otherwise known as the LCS. Additionally, the Dell-owned subsidiary also provides equipment for the Mid-Season Invitational, Rift Rivals, the League of Legends All-Star Event, and the League of Legends World Championship.

Rift Rivals Alienware Fan Event

In addition to being the presenting sponsor, Alienware will also host a Rift Rivals fan event composed of:

  • The Official Alienware Watch Party, located down the street from the LCS Arena at 3000 Olympic Blvd, Building 1, Santa Monica, CA 90404. Fans will have the opportunity to check out Riot’s new Pro View, a live mirror of a professional players screen while they compete in Rift Rivals.
  • The return of “Hotline League,” hosted by Travis Gafford and Mark “MarkZ”: Zimmerman. Unannounced special guests will also make an appearance.
  • An opportunity to take a look at the 2v2 “Best of the West” Championship Belt

Bryan DeZayas, Director of Marketing & Esports at Dell, has this to say on the expansion of Alienware’s partnership with the LCS:

We believe that with the success of Europe and North America at MSI, as well as the debut of features like ProView, this will be one of the most entertaining Rift Rivals to date. We’re excited to watch the matchups between the top two regions in the world and we look forward to seeing everyone at the watch party.”

Rift Rivals will feature the top six teams from both the LEC and LCS, including Team Liquid, TSM, and Cloud9 from North America and G2 Esports, Origen, and Fnatic from Europe. The tournament runs from June 27th to the 29th in Los Angeles, California. Tickets are available here.
