How to Watch $25K OpTic Chicago Black Ops Cold War Tournament

OpTic Chicago are the second CDL team to host a Black Ops Cold War tournament tonight with their own launch tournament.

In a week of Black Ops Cold War tournaments hosted by Call of Duty League teams, OpTic Chicago are the second to host. Their tournament will feature the brand new OpTic Chicago lineup along with a host of NRG streamers.

Format

The OpTic Chicago launch event will feature a group play draft with single elimination competitive CDL modes; Meaning all games will be played on the CDL ruleset. A group play draft will kick things off. Plus, with the tournament being single elimination, teams will have to be on their best game at all times. Because if you lose, you’re out.

Teams

While teams haven't been announced yet, we know the OpTic Chicago lineup will be competing. This team consists of Seth “Scump” Abner, Matthew “Formal” Piper, Dylan “Envoy” Hannon and Brandon “Dashy” Otell. With OpTic Chicago set to be one of the favourites to win the 2021 Call of Duty League, it will be interesting to see how they play together. They will be competing against other NRG and OpTic streamers, this includes players such as Jordan “HusKerrs” Thomas, one of the best Warzone players in the world.

Schedule and How to Watch

‘OpTic Chicago’s launch tournament begins at 2PM EST. As it's single elimination, it will likely last around 3 hours. You can catch the tournament on the Call of Duty Twitch Channel; but your favorite competitor will also be streaming their POV.
