Full CoD: BOCW League Play Details Revealed

League Play is finally here, so here’s everything you need to know.

League Play has finally come to Black Ops Cold War. With it, comes 30 new ranks with rewards along the way. Here’s everything you need to know about the new mode.

League Play Events

Black Ops Cold War’s League Play will feature two events per week. Weekly events will run Monday – Friday, while Weekend events will run Friday – Monday. Players will need to play five initial placement matches before being ranked in one of the 30 ranks. The goal of each event is to climb the Division ladder, and progress to the next rank.

How to Rank Up

After you’re ranked, you'll be placed in a Division Ladder with 50 other players. You’ll earn points per win, and lose points for each loss. A win streak will multiply your points, and the top players on your ladder will advance at the end of the event.

Your progressive Rank will reflect if you’ve ever placed near the top of the Ladder or won a League Play Event. Finish in the Top 10, Top 5, or 1st to permanently upgrade your Rank from Bronze to Silver, Silver Gold, or Gold. Finish first six times, and you’ll permanently upgrade your Rank to Diamond.
